Mark J. Nemet
Mark grew up in New Jersey where he graduated from Union High School and then continued his education at Long Island
University. He received a B.A. degree in 1969. After completion of military service in the U.S. Army and marrying his wife,
Adrian, in 1971, Mark enrolled in Long Island University Graduate School of Business where he received his M.B.A. Mark
is a Florida CPA and also has a CVA designation(Certified Valuation Analyst) which is awarded to CPA's by the National
Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Mark started his career in public accounting in 1973 working in New York City for what was then one of the "Big Eight"
accounting firms. In 1979 he moved with his family to Florida and has been a resident of Broward County since that time.
Mark became associated with the firm, which was formerly Finkelstein & Brown P.A., in 1988 and became a shareholder
in Finkelstein Nemet & Rothchild P.A. in January 1994. His areas of practice include: Individual, Corporate and
International Tax, Estate Planning, Representation Before the Internal Revenue Service, Auditing and Small Business
When Mark is not assisting our clients he occupies his free time with sports, travel, enjoying the Florida outdoors, and
spending time with his family.
